For customers who only require a pure container trailer, Gheysen & Verpoort has developed a completely new model. This container trailer is not assembled like a classic trailer. The new development involves creating a self-supporting structure that can be found in the automotive industry. This results in a very stiff and stable supporting structure that is also very light. The loading height is also limited to just one meter, which contributes to stability. A very convenient feature is the option to equip the trailer with a pneumatically lowerable hitch.
This allows the container to be loaded both from the rear and the front. It is no longer necessary to drive against traffic to load the container. This is particularly beneficial in limited loading areas, as no additional space is needed behind the trailer.
The production is 100% Belgian but remains competitive by using modern construction techniques such as welding robots.
